Steak and a Clam

Week 8: Slow Cooker - Dulce de Leche
I love my CrockPot. I make stews, pot roasts, and more pulled pork than you can shake a fork at. I’ve never done a dessert type food. This isn’t really a food, but if my boyfriend and I were lesser people, it would be breakfast, lunch, tea AND dinner. Zomg.
Instructions: Take label off a can (or two) of sweetened condensed milk. This is so you don’t have a pulpy mess later. Put the can in a slow cooker, and completely cover with water. Cover. Set to low. Leave for 6 hours. Take out and let it cool for a while. Open it. Bathe in it. Refrigerate the remains in some swanky Tupperware you stole from your boyfriend’s mom.
It’s not recommended you cook an unopened can of anything, but apparently the trick is to always keep it covered with water. Physics. Just be safe and be warned that it might burst, and you might go into a diabetic coma.
